PENGARUH MODEL TPS DAN RTE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. 2) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Rotation Trio Exchange terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa, 3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan Rotation Trio Exchange terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam Penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP YPI Amir Hamzah. Analisis  data dilakukan dengan uji ANAVA dan analisis deskriptif.  Hasil temuan menunjukkan: 1) Dari hasil uji regresi linier sederhana model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share memberi pengaruh terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yakni 19,488 > 4,260. 2) Dan model pebelajaran kooperatif tipe Rotation Trio Exchange memberi pengaruh terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel yakni 15,663 > 4,260. Pada pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dengan taraf α = 0,05 diperoleh harga thitung=17,98 dan ttabel=  4,085, dengan demikian diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel atau 17,98 >  4,085, sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari data diatas dapat disimpulkan penelitian ini menjelaskan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan kooperatif tipe Rotation Trio Exchange terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP YPI Amir Hamzah.

ABSTRAK    This study aims: 1) To determine the effect of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model on students' mathematical connection abilities. 2) To determine the effect of cooperative learning model type Rotation Trio Exchange on students' mathematical connection ability, 3) To determine differences in cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share and Rotation Trio Exchange on students' mathematical connection ability. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population in the study were all eighth grade students of SMP YPI Amir Hamzah. Data analysis was carried out using ANOVA test and descriptive analysis. The findings show: 1) From the results of a simple linear regression test, the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model has an effect on students' mathematical connection abilities with a value of Fcount > Ftable which is 19.488 > 4.260. 2) And the cooperative learning model of the Rotation Trio Exchange type has an effect on students' mathematical connection abilities with a value of Fcount > Ftable, which is 15,663 > 4,260. In testing the hypothesis by using the t-test with a level of = 0.05, the price tcount = 17.98 and ttable = 4.085, thus obtained Fcount > Ftable or 17.98 > 4.085, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the data above, it can be concluded that this study explains that there is an effect of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share and cooperative type Rotation Trio Exchange on the mathematical connection ability of class VIII SMP YPI Amir Hamzah.
