Abstrak

Saat ini, budaya Indonesia memudar seiring berjalannya waktu. Kemajuan teknologi telah menyebabkan banyak budaya dilupakan dan ditinggalkan oleh para remaja. Selain itu, pembelajaran matematika saat ini umumnya terlalu kering, teoritis, kurang kontekstual dan artifisial. Pembelajaran menjadi kurang fleksibel, sehingga matematika yang ditemui anak-anak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sangat berbeda dengan yang mereka temukan di sekolah. Salah satu yang dapat menjembatani kesenjangan antara budaya dan pendidikan, khususnya matematika, adalah etnomatematika. Manfaat pendidikan matematika etnomatematika antara lain penguatan peran pendidikan matematika dalam mengembangkan karakter tangguh yang dapat mendukung pembangunan nasional

ABSTRACT            Nowadays, Indonesian culture is fading with the passage of time. Technological advances have caused many cultures to be forgotten and abandoned by teenagers. In addition, today's mathematics learning is generally too dry, theoretical, less contextual and artificial. Learning becomes less flexible, so the mathematics that children encounter in everyday life is very different from what they find in school. One that can bridge the gap between culture and education, especially mathematics, is ethnomathematics. The benefits of ethnomathematical mathematics education include strengthening the role of mathematics education in developing strong characters that can support national development
