PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SSCS TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, And Share (SSCS) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan motivasi belajar siswa di MTS Yayasan Hutapungkut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental design). Populasinya adalah siswa kelas VII di MTs Yayasan Hutapungkut tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 4 kelas berjumlah 76 siswa. Kelas VIIB berjumlah 22 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan VIID berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini berbentuk tes uraian dan angket motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Uji hipotesis Uji-t, untuk hipotesis pertama diperoleh thitung > ttabel dengan 8,510 > 2,086 menyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hipotesis kedua diperoleh thitung > ttabel dengan 12,971 > 2,086 menyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create, And Share (SSCS) learning model on mathematical problem solving abilities and student learning motivation at the MTS Hutapungkut Foundation. This research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research (quasi experimental design). The population is class VII students at MTs Yayasan Hutapungkut for the 2022/2023 school year which consists of 4 classes with a total of 76 students. Class VIIB consists of 22 students as the experimental class, and VIID consists of 20 students as the control class. The sampling technique was carried out using purposive sampling. The instruments in this study were in the form of a description test and a learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the study revealed that the t-test hypothesis test, for the first hypothesis obtained t count > t table with 8.510 > 2.086 stating that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The second hypothesis is obtained t count > t table with 12.971 > 2.086 stating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
