Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswayang diajar dengan strategi everyone is a teacher here dan strategi the power of two di kelas VIII MTsN 2 Labura. Penelitian dengan populasi berjumlah 64 siswa, sedangkan sampelnya berjumlah 32 masing-masing kelas VIII 1 dan VIII 2. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes 5 soal essay untuk pre-test dan post-test. Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan : 1) terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, dengan thitung = 24,36 > 2,042. (2). terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi pembelajaran the power of two pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, dengan thitung = 12,56 > 2,042. (3). terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here dengan strategi pembelajaran the power of two, dengan Fhitung = 11,096 > 4,001.
ABSTRACK This study aims to determine the differences in students' mathematical problem solving abilities who are taught the everyone is a teacher here strategy and the power of two strategy in class VIII MTsN 2 Labura. The study with a population of 64 students, while the sample amounted to 32 each class VIII 1 and VIII 2. The research instrument used was a test of 5 essay questions for pre-test and post-test. These findings indicate: 1) there is an effect of applying the learning strategy everyone is a teacher here on the material of a two-variable linear equation system on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, with tcount = 24.36 > 2.042. (2). there is an effect of applying the power of two learning strategy on the material of a two-variable linear equation system on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, with tcount = 12.56 > 2.042. (3). there are differences in the mathematical problem solving ability of students who are taught with the everyone is a teacher here learning strategy with the power of two learning strategy, with Fcount = 11.096 > 4.001.
