PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Ekonom : Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis memiliki proses review dua tahap, yaitu review awal yang dilakukan oleh editor utama untuk mengecek plagiarisme dan mengubah hasil naskah untuk dikirim ke peer review (tahap kedua). Editor memiliki waktu untuk memeriksa naskah sekitar empat minggu, tetapi bisa lebih lama tergantung jumlah naskah yang masuk. Jika naskah lolos pada tahap kedua, editor bagian akan diarahkan untuk meninjau proses keuangan. Satu naskah akan direview oleh dua reviewer. Penetapan reviewer untuk menyunting naskah berdasarkan pengalaman, keahlian, dan minat yang sesuai dengan tema naskah. 

Jurnal ini menggunakan proses review “double blind” yaitu reviewer tidak mengetahui nama dan afiliasi yang disingkirkan oleh pengelola jurnal. Penulis juga diminta untuk menulis identitas yang diterima untuk diterbitkan. Artikel yang masuk ke redaksi akan diterbitkan dengan ketentuan dibawah ini :

  1. Kontribusi Pengetahuan di Bidang Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Sains.
  2. Literatur yang relevan dan pengecekan hasil penelitian dari jurnal.
  3. Kejelasan tujuan penelitian dan/atau pengembangan.
  4. Penggunaan metodologi yang tepat.
  5. Kelengkapan data empiris, analisis, dan pembahasan yang berkualitas dengan mengutip hasil penelitian sebelumnya.
  6. Kepatuhan dengan panduan penulis.
  7. Cek Plagiarisme harus dibawah 30%.

Jika naskah sesuai dengan kriteria di atas, maka naskah siap untuk dikirim ke reviewer, seluruh proses review memakan waktu 3 bulan sejak saat pengajuan. Waktu hingga artikel dapat diterbitkan membutuhkan waktu lima bulan. Komentar yang diberikan oleh reviwer perlu diperhatikan untuk dilaksanakan oleh penulis. Selama perbaikan, penulis tidak melakukan revisi terhadap komentar yang diberikan oleh reviewer. Maka naskah tetap tidak akan diterbitkan.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

Ekonom :  Economic and Bussiness Journal has a two-stage review process, namely an initial review carried out by the main editor to check for plagiarism and change the manuscript results to be sent to peer review (second stage). Editors have about four weeks to review manuscripts, but it could take longer depending on the number of submitted manuscripts. If the manuscript passes the second stage, the section editor will be directed to review the financial process. One manuscript will be reviewed by two reviewers. based on reviewers to edit manuscripts of experience, expertise, and interests according to the theme of the manuscript.

This Journal uses a "double blind" review process, where the reviewer does not know the name and affiliation that was removed by the journal manager. Authors are also asked to write an ID that is accepted for publication. Articles that enter the editorial office will be published with the following conditions :

  1. Knowledge Contribution in Economics and Bussiness.
  2. Relevant literature and checking research results from journals.
  3. Clarity of research and/or development objectives.
  4. Use of appropriate methodology.
  5. Completeness of quality empirical data, analysis, and discussion by citing the results of previous studies.
  6. Compliance with author guidelines.
  7. Plagiarism check must be below 30%.

If the manuscript meets the criteria above, then the manuscript is ready to be sent to the reviewer, the entire review process takes 3 months from the time of submission. The time for articles to be published takes five months. Comments given by the reviewer need to be considered to be implemented by the author. During the repair, the author did not make revisions to the comments given by the reviewer. So the manuscript will not be published.
