PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER JUJUR PADA SISWA SMA NEGERI 1 BUNTU PANE

Abstrak

Abstrak. Pembelajaran tidak cuma bertujuan buat meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual, namun pengembangan kepribadiannya juga sehingga menjadi orang yang berkarakter baik. Kepribadian yang baik bisa dibesarkan dengan didasari oleh nilai-nilai moral yang luhur. Nilai-nilai moral memastikan manusia membuat pilihan-pilihan agar dapat berperan secara baik, serta meninggalkan hal-hal yang kurang baik. Salah satu upaya pengembangan kepribadian yang berarti di Indonesia merupakan membangun kepribadian jujur dalam diri peserta didik. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta memperoleh model pembelajaran kepribadian jujur melalui metode bercerita untuk siswa SMA. Penelitian pengembangan model pembelajaran karakter jujur melalui metode bercerita telah melewati tahap revisi draf model, uji lapangan awal, revisi produk, serta tahap uji pelaksanaan lapangan. Sampai tahap ini, hasil yang telah dicapai menampakkan bahwa model yang telah dikembangkan tersebut bisa diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah SMA untuk pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam tema-tema yang telah dipilih sesuai yang termuat di dalam Kurikulum 13 untuk SMA. Selain itu, dari hasil uji pelaksanaan bisa juga disimpulkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan melalui metode bercerita dapat diterima dengan baik oleh anak-anak SMA yang menjadi subjek penelitian.

Abstract. Learning does not only aim to improve intellectual abilities, but the development of his personality is also so that it becomes a person with good character. A good personality can be brought up with noble moral values. Moral values ​​ensure humans make choices to be able to play a role well, and leave things that are not good. One effort to develop personal personality in Indonesia is building an honest personality in students. In particular this study aims to develop and obtain honest personality learning models through the method of telling stories for high school students. Research on the development model of honest character learning through storytelling methods has passed the revised stage of the draft model, initial field test, product revision, and the field of the field implementation test. Until this stage, the results achieved revealed that the developed model could be applied in high school schools for integrated character education in the themes that had been selected according to those contained in the 13th curriculum for high school. In addition, the results of the implementation test can also be concluded that the model developed through the storytelling method can be well received by high school children who are the subjects of the study.
